About the Scholarship
The Clara Marie Smith Educational Excellence Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Clara Marie Smith and her dedication to education and community service. This scholarship aims to support deserving students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.

Important Requirements
The winner must be present or have a representative present at the HBCU College Fair to receive the scholarship. The award will be announced at the event, and attendance is mandatory for the prize to be awarded.
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Must be a graduate of a Texas High School
Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently enrolled full-time at an HBCU
